What documents to provide with your application
Important note about document validity
To apply for NSW nomination, ensure that all your supporting documents are valid on both the day you apply and five days after you submit your NSW nomination application.
Be aware that expired supporting documents, including your English assessment, skills assessment, and passport, make you ineligible to apply for NSW nomination.
The total combined file size limit of your supporting documents cannot exceed 35 MB. Note that this is a total file size limit and not a per-document limit.
Certified documents and colour scans
Your supporting documents must either be colour scans or certified black and white copies of the original document
All supporting documents must be provided in English. If your original document is in a language other than English, follow these translation guidelines:
- Use a translator accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) if you are within Australia.
- If outside Australia, have the document translated by a qualified translator who endorses the translation with their full name, qualifications, and contact details.
